Food Assistance:

Tuesdays:  5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Fridays:      9:00 AM - 11:00 AM


The pantry will remain closed on Christmas day, as well as the Friday following Thanksgiving. If there is a weather emergency prohibiting travel, the pantry will also remain closed at that time.

Requirements


The Jefferson County House of Hope will serve a guest family on their first visit without providing a photo ID or proof of residence. However, these two forms of identification may be presented during the first visit.

Proof of of residence is required for the second visit. Proof of residence must be provided every twelve months. A photo ID is required for all future visits. Please be prepared to list all the members of your household, dates of birth, and relationships.

All guest families must be residents of Jefferson County.


The Jefferson County House of Hope is a 501c3 non-profit organization.  All donations are tax deductible.



     Volunteer Form       

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer at the Jefferson County House of Hope, please click on the link below for a volunteer application.  There are many opportunities for service:  greeter, hospitality, food intake, guided shopper, stocking shelves, janitorial, helper, prayer partner and food pickup.  Training sessions for these positions are scheduled as needed. If you are 16 years of age or younger, a parent or guardian must volunteer with you.  


Scheduling is flexible.  There is no minimum number of volunteer hours required.





 

It’s important to us that our guest families be aware of the services that we provide.


  • Providing food assistance to residents of Jefferson County​ every 28 days as needed
  • Connecting our guests with local churches at their request
  • Referring our guests to other not for profit agencies providing additional services
  • Providing prayer support and encouragement

 EMERGENCY FOOD REFERRAL FORM

This form is for emergency food assistance when the House of Hope is closed.  This form is for pastors, medical personnel, social workers, and other relief agencies to certify emergency need.

This form may be filled out on line and then printed for signatures.
